It’s finally getting cold in VA. A cold front is moving through, and it doesn’t look like it’ll be warming up. I like it, though, because you just can’t have a warm Christmas. I remember waking up one Christmas and being able to wear shorts outside.. and it just felt… weird. I’m definitley partial to the White Christmas, although that may be a stretch.
Pictures from our Christmas Party are up in the webshots. We had a pretty great night, as various people stopped by throughout the night. We bought two kegs (one of which we didn’t even tap) and 35 bottles of champagne. We also had some decorations and food. The theme of the party was “Tacky Christmas” as people wore tacky sweaters, santa hats, christmas lingerie, etc. Unfortunatley, since I was studying the entire week prior, I didn’t have time to buy a silly Christmas outfit, but my green shirt/santa tie/santa hat did me well. The highlight of the night would definitley be Karaoke Revolution, as drunken girls and guys sang all night.
I just finished my physics exam, which was pretty rough. Thankfully, the class is on a curve, so I could have only gotten a 45%, but the average may even be a 40% (and it’s very possible). Before the exam, our TA told us the professor liked having an equal distribution of multiple choice answers. Since there were 50 questions, and options A B C D E, I figured I’d go 10 for each. I kept a little tally sheet of the answers I knew, and when I went back through the test to do my guessing, I used that as a reference. I’ll let you know if it paid off or not..
Now I only have a takehome test (due Sat) and an exam (next Tuesday).. needless to say, I’ll be chilling out for a bit. Goodluck on all your exams!
